On Wednesday, June 15th the Washington Youth Tour Arizona delegation toured Mount Vernon in Virginia.  This American landmark and former plantation of George Washington, is settled on the banks of the Potomac River in Fairfax County Virginia.  The students walked along trails and toured the impressive well-preserved 18th century mansion.  The students also visited the Marine Corps and went on a riverboat cruise later in the evening.  On Thursday, they will visit the nations capital.  Look for additional pictures of their adventures on the GCEC Facebook page.
